Seems awfully soon for conference games. But then you realize that these new contracts are not built upon guarantee games in the 357-team behemoth that is Division I.

 

I envision a Michael Scott-esque attempt to rally the team by bring Lil’ Penny into the locker room, only to confuse a group of players who were not alive for the ad campaign.

A bunch of conferences increased the number of conference games a couple of years back. ACC went from 18 to 20 before the 2018-19 season. Can't wait until January to start playing that many. VT plays Wake, Duke and UNC in December.

 

Uhh...isn't that the coach's job, to get the players on his team to play together. That reflects poorly on him.

 

If you read the comments in that tweet string, that point is made abundantly clear. "There's a place on the bench for players with that attitude" and the like. Georgia just lost to Wofford.
