I’ll say it again: Ain’t no way that ugly-ass motherfucking Tom Cotton ever sniffs the big chair. We had our Arkansas president. Like Missouri, you only get one.

Correct, I got my numbers confused.

The max charge is $9 per kilowatt hour, with the typical cost being 89 cents.

The mega-watt max charge is $9,000.

Confused numbers aside, it doesn't change the fact that Texas is a failed petro-state because of the Republican leadership there.

Texas is really just a collection of four successful MSAs -- Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin -- with a bunch of rural, shithole territory.

Two-thirds of the state, 19 of 29 million, lives in four areas. The growth there isn't sustainable with infrastructure investments and the Republican leadership isn't willing to do that.

Increasing taxes and removing the home mortgage deduction will strip the middle class of any much of what discretionary income they have left. There is a huge movement on the right that considers neighborhood schools in middle class areas to be defacto discrimination and will tear down the concept of local school administration and boundaries towards a ‘progressive system’ of education where students are assigned schools based on socio-economic status. One way to tighten the academic achievement gap is to hold the steady or even reduce the achievements and opportunities for the better students to make education appear more equitable.
