    100. ONE HUNDRED! Working right to the end

I'm hoping this guy is wrong but I doubt it.
Have not seen a story yet but I imagine one will be up soon.

Sid was the big noise in town when I first got there in 1975, and had been for 25 years.

May his memory be a blessing.

RIP. Wow to a legendary and long-lived journalist who excelled in so many media. Peace to his family and hope they remember all of his wonderful stories.

And acting GM of the Minny Lakers at age 27!

RIP to a guy who represented like three vanished eras of sportswriting.

Congratulations, my friend, on “breaking” this sad, but important story.

Mr. Hartman was a true treasure.

RIP to a journo who I recall personally profited from the Vikings stadium deal. Also a Madoff client. Did well for an ink-stained wretch.

    Thank you for the clarification.

Regardless, I celebrate the life of a true sports journalist. Mr. Hartman and Mr. Angell, to name another, are true legends who have connected us to bygone eras.

Honest mistake, no worries at all.
Roger Angell IS still alive, right? Turned 100 a month ago?
