Thanks. I certainly am. I wish he could have lived to see the Rays get to the ALCS this year. He would have loved it.
I wouldn't wish that death on my worst enemy. Except for Trump. Fuck that asshole.

That's a common refrain from both sides. "I didn't leave my party; my party left me." --- Zell Miller.

GOP says left is veering way too far left.
Dems say right is veering way too far right.

Each party also insists it's just too gosh darn nice and lets the other party walk all over it with all their win-at-all-costs mechanisms.

    Rinse, repeat.

It's common for people to freeze up when trying to remember those things.

If it's a question someone has to get right to become a US citizen or pass an eighth grade civics test, I don't think it's too much to expect a potential Supreme Court Justice to nail it.

Okay not really but the GOP of the 80/90s had ideals it purported to follow:

    smaller govt
    Decentralization of govt/states rights

The GOP of today doesn’t offer any of those. All it offers is “right to life”.

One would think that a constitutionalist, who worships the words of the Constitution, would have a grasp of the first amendment.

He might be helping them from above. There were lots of people who envisioned Hank Gathers sitting on the backboard guiding in shots from the LMU players when they made 21 3-pointers against Michigan in the NCAA game.

He might be. Though he believed in reincarnation. :)

I wish he could have seen Arozorena play. He would have been my dad's new favorite player.
