That Sea-NE game was one of the most fun games in memory. Cam looked like a seriously good QB. Russell was unreal...:AGAIN.

Oh BTW, Herbert shows what a young QB can add but damn that INT he threw was a back breaker; he floated it against the grain when he could’ve just run for the first down. Brutal.

We can all go back and forth about what to call his junior season for a while, but he wasn't terrible. He showed signs of being a decent player in his first year as a starter, then blossomed in a better system the following season. You've got a guy who was a big-time recruit coming out of high school, but it took time and the right system to put it together. Plenty of college quarterbacks have been surrounded by superior talent, but how many done what he did in 2019?

That Adam Gase and Anthony Lynn aren't fired this morning is organizational malpractice.

Gase for continually having the worst team in the NFL.

Lynn for starting Tyrod Taylor in week one. For punting on 4th and 1 in overtime. What result did you think was going to happen when you give the ball to Mahomes?
The two Los Angeles Chargers fans in the workd are pissed.

The Jets want the first pick, why would they want to fire Gase?

Trevor Lawrence will go back for his senior year and, if needed, fake his own death the following year rather than get taken by the Jets.

From the googly-eyed introductory press conference to the weekly shit product on the field, ive never seen a worse head coach.
    Since Rich Kotite.

If the Giants and Jets can only accomplish one thing between them this season, this will be that one good thing.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Jets and Giants renamed the photo work room at MetLife Stadium in honor of Anthony Causi, the New York Post photographer who died at 48 in April from the new coronavirus.

The exceedingly popular sports photographer covered the city’s teams for 25 years. Many of New York’s professional sports teams and players paid tribute to Causi, who was married with two young children, in the months since his death.

The Jets and Giants announced the dedication of the Anthony J. Causi Photo Work Room on Sunday, a few hours before the Jets’ home opener against the San Francisco 49ers at MetLife Stadium.

“We were graced with Anthony’s ability to memorably capture iconic moments in New York sports history,” the teams said in a joint statement. “Anthony passed away on April 12, 2020, of complications from COVID-19. We believe it is most fitting to honor Anthony’s life and work by renaming the room in his memory, and our hope is it provides some peace for Anthony’s wife Romina, their children John and Mia and the rest of Anthony’s family, as well as his friends and colleagues.”

He said Tyrod will again be the starter when he's ready to play.

Maybe the Jets can fire the owner.

    Or Peyton Manning.

Supposedly what sealed the Gase hire was that Belichick really encouraged Woody Johnson to hire him. I don't care how "bright" his "offensive mind" is - from what I've read, Gase is terrible in the locker room and in his dealings with players, both in Miami and now in New York.

If the Cowboys don't go 6-0 in their division, which they should, they might not break .500 (and they'd still win the division) I don't see anyone in the NFC East beating Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Seattle, the Rams or the Cardinals this year.
