    What about Andre’s weave?

Jen Brady just kicked the crap out of Angie Kerber to get to the quarters. I wouldn’t be shocked to see her in the final against Kenin or Serena.

It's been quite an Open for former college players -- at the same time that tennis programs, particularly men's, are getting chopped left and right.

Joker is out via default. Wow.

That's as strange a thing as you'll ever see. Joker tried to plead his case but the decision was correct. Hopefully the official is OK.

Holy shit. Cannot say I have ever seen that before.

    Right call, though.

They showed video from the 2017 Davis Cup of Shapovalov smacking a ball that hit the chair umpire in the face and fractured his eye socket.

Correct call. Bullshit theatrics by the linesperson.

How so? She was hit in the neck, no? On the broadcast they mentioned a match where a cameraman was hit by a similar angry ball and he said "I'm OK, don't stop" and there was no default. But this woman had to be helped off the court, it appeared.

I think the rules for hitting an official are different than for hitting a bystander, even if it's a cameraperson. Can't have the former happen, even by accident.
