In the eyes of 40-50% of Republican voters Trump isn’t the devil you know. He’s literally anointed by god.

"Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP , clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster, the theory of Atlantis and that the best candidate on the economy is a mentally unbalanced failed casino operator whose negligence created an unemployment rate more than double what it was at the beginning of his presidency?"

Is Joe Biden actually in charge or is he just a puppet? Will Harris do what he wants or run her own agenda?

    People are talking ...

Again, the dems went out of their way to make sure Biden was the candidate because he was the "most electable." If Bernie Sanders were the nominee right now, most people would be saying they blew it and handed Trump re-election.

Biden said no taxes raised on the first $400,000 income. Late term abortion? Don’t want one don’t have. They are rare and medically necessary. It’s a bull shit issue. Abortion is a bullshit issue propagated by the worst group of people in the USA. Religious right wingers are the most ignorant and simple minded people, and not ina good folksy way. But in a hateful and hurtful way. Those fuckers lack an iota of Christian faith and love.

Avortion is absolutely a b******* issue. there is nobody anywhere advocating for widespread or even easy late-term abortions. They happen so rarely and they are almost always medically necessary. It is high time that we quit kowtowing to the religious right and subverting the healthcare issues of women. Reproductive health is vital, and no one should have a say if a woman decides to end a pregnancy.

In the rest of the modern world, the GOP would be considered far right and the Democrats would be considered moderate right.

Americans are clueless as to how much more liberal many Western counties are, and not just our neighbors to the north.

"White and Christian" covers an awful lot of territory in this country, and there are plenty of either/both who aren't in love with Trump. There are an awful lot of white and Christian people who travel well beyond Cancun (and what's wrong with Cancun, anyway?). There are an awful lot of white, Christian people for whom beer, football and racing mean next to nothing, and who are among the most educated and well-read, open-minded and strongest people there can be, and who are anything but white trash -- and who don't see others as such, either.

Such blanket statements and such, frankly, purely black-and-white viewpoints, are exactly what is exacerbating many of the problems in this country right now. When I write about every Jew in this country -- or anybody else in this country -- the way heyabbott did about people who are white and Christian, I'll post something other about that post than what I did.

Both are religious based extremists. Why don’t the moderate Christians denounce the Christian extremists in America?

When you see today Trump supporting — not from a distance but sending his daughter-in-law on an official campaign event — someone who is an unabashed bigot, how can a reasonable Republican vote for him?

The only friends of mine who are Republicans and support Trump are either one issue anti-abortion voters or trigger the libs/media types.
