    Well, maybe not. In 1972, a special session of the DNC was convened to nominate Sargent Shriver. But, then again, that was 50 years ago and things have, um, changed. It's not going to happen.

    But I believe the previous nominee, Thomas Eagleton, had resigned, admittedly under pressure. Shriver was nominated as the replacement.

    So my default mask these days says “Good Trouble”. On our drive down to N.C. today for vacation, two different people said Trump to me when they saw me with that mask. This county is fucked.
