President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Guns ain't going away. Abortion ain't going away. Corporations running the country ain't gonna change. Health costs ain't coming down. We'll never balance the budget. I'm not going to waste my time pretending any of these are really election issues.

 

The one issue being the Ukraine makes me phrase that more like "Reality?"

 

Not unless you put a party willing to change them in charge, they're not.

 

Gay marriage ain't gonna change. Supreme Court ain't gonna change. Pre-existing conditions ain't gonna change.
Oh, wait, they and thousands of other changes were all made under Democratic control. Oops.

 

Right place, right time. Conservative-appointed justice was the swing vote on gay marriage. Obama HIMSELF sure wasn't for it. Trump's two justices have each been swing votes for the liberals.

Nixon created the EPA. Roe v. Wade happened during his administration. That kicks the crap out of Obama's accomplishments. Then again, it was just right place, right time.

I will repeat my longoing prediction that Trump will not participate in any debates this season.

 

That would be a good move for him since he has nothing to run on besides, "I sent you $1200 a few months ago."
