    So no Astros get suspended for cheating but Kelly gets 8 games and he didn't even hit a batter?

    The suspension is equivalent to 21 games in a full season.

    I don't know what's funnier: The heavy-handed suspension for actions taking against the Astros or the fact that a bullshit suspension was handed down to the Dodgers.

    He makes some excellent points here. Some will disagree, but as warranted as it may seem, there is no way that the umpiring crews and MLB can just let this retaliation go unfettered. If they do, then the Astros will get to the point that they have to retaliate and then it just becomes anarchy, and the odds of serious injury go up. I agree the suspension is pretty steep considering the length of the season, but I think it will get lessened on appeal.

    Also, an Angels beat writer comes up with another point:
