He knows exactly what he's doing.

 

Intentionally fomenting urban disorder because "it plays well with right-wing media" during a pandemic he ignored, downplayed and got bored with fighting might win re-election. But it will reserve him a spot in the "worst presidents of all time" in the history books.....if we even have history books in the future.

 

Was this the first test Trump ever took?

 

Well, just like they make every lawyer take (and pass) a test before joining the bar, there's gotta be one for president, right? I mean, POTUS is way more important of a job than any single lawyer, so you'd think there has to be some test a presidential candidate must pass that would cover the constitution, economics, diplomacy, public health, defense issues.....

 

And people say that the art of storytelling is dead...

this seems to be the new talking point so yes, as amazing as it sounds this is all for campaign video. Don't know if it started out that way. Maybe a little "let's see if we can get away with this then, "hell yeah we can" and "doesn't it make for good visuals for the campaign?".

We are now 8 days away from enhanced UI disappearing. Arguably, it is the one thing which is keeping large sectors of the economy from totally cratering. If there is going to be any substantive change to the system, Congress is giving the states no time to adjust.
