Kentucky cheerleading scandal

    I have been to a D1 cheerleader camp. One of the great weeks of my life.

    One of our news reporters had a daughter on the dance team at an SEC school (not Kentucky). I'm pretty sure she was not getting a scholarship, or if she was it wasn't much of one. Certainly not a full scholarship.
    IIRC, the dance team is separate from the cheerleaders, at least at that school.

    Dance and cheer are generally separate entities.

    No kidding. Also, now being an expert after watching "Cheer" on Netflix, it seems like fucking lunacy to be doing any of that in bare feet, just on the ground or a dock.
