    Damn it!

One of the funniest performers. So many great moments in his career. Fernwood Tonight, the Christopher Guest movies.....

That clip was the first thing I thought of. "Better not get too close or they'll think I'm part of the band. Just joking of course."

(Side note: in all of the Marc Maron WTF podcast interviews I've heard, Fred Willard's was quite possibly the worst. Was kind of disappointing.)

I hope Lt. Bob Hookstratten got back to the Ramada Inn in Kansas City one more time to see Four Jacks and a Jill

I'm blown away he was 86, talk about a guy who seemed perpetually young. History of White People in America is worth a look.

Phil's dad on Modern Family, right? One of my favorites from that show.

RIP to a very talented and very funny (in a deadpan way) person.

I actually first remember him and one of the hosts of "Real People" before he left after the first season. So, you could say he helped launch, in a way, the "reality TV" genre that blew up years later.

Obviously, one of many great performers in the "mockumentary" genre. Remembered for his Joe Garagiola-like commentator in "Best in Show," but I thought an underrated performance was in the "Mascots" movie I saw on Netflix.
