    What he could have said is that we have to close and that because of the CARES Act, much of your lost wages through 7/31 will be picked up by unemployment insurance, even for part timers.

    They’re also willing to go balls to the wall to not have to provide them with health insurance that includes birth control and abortion coverage. But when it comes time for them to step to the plate during a health crisis, they just cut and run and say that their deity is in charge.

    No inside info here, but my gut is that he went that far just so he didn't have to keep re-issuing executive orders every two weeks. There's some wiggle room to end it early if the situation dictates.
