Sanders is mendacious and completely unelectable.

The worse case scenario to guarantee Trump's reelection is the DNC sheds itself of Bernie by whatever means necessary and he mounts a third party campaign in August.

Just say Mexico will pay for it. Problem solved.

He wouldn't, but some of his more committed (to be polite) supporters might find a Jill Stein equivalent. BTW, the DNC has no influence on this at all. It's up to the other candidates to stop Sanders if they can.

None of the alternatives to Sanders still in the race are really appealing either.... especially Biden. He seems to have the same tangled relationship to the English language as George H.W. Bush, with not even as much as gravitas.

Seriously, he could've had this primary season sealed up months ago. He just didn't close the deal. That alone casts doubts on him.

The other candidates see, some more than others, that the first job of any nominee is to unify the party as much as possible. Sanders doesn't give a shit about that. He's just going to run the same spiel over and over again until he gets whomped on Election Day -- if he gets that far. While not a malevolent man, he is a very arrogant one, as stuck on himself as Bloomberg, really.

She was a little more circumspect in how she phrased it, supporting her position with legal reasoning and precedent, in a dissent involving a procedural issue - the issuance of a stay pursuant to a government emergency request.

It’s a rebuke. It is accurate. It’s also unprofessional. And it will be weaponized.
