OMG. I have the Lighthouse vinyl. But I don't have a turntable anymore. I need to buy one. That was a time when I really liked the "horn" bands -- Chicago; Blood, Sweat & Tears; Bob James; Chuck Mangione; Don Ellis.

Johnny and June, 1968. Listen to the growl in her voice as she answers back to him. Great stuff.

Mark-Almond's entire career was a deep cut. High end English studio musicians, guys who played with Jimmy Page when he was one, who formed a band. This is a very particular sort of a songwriter's lament, but I'm extremely fond of it. From '73 or so.

"But I don't have the money. I'll have to tour to get the money."

Commander Cody with the boogie-woogie entitled "Beat me daddy, eight to the bar". The little background singer with braids is Nicolette Larson.
