    I grew up in Connecticut and Gayle King was a state-wide joke known for getting where she got by clinging to her best friend Oprah's coattails. Her showing actual journalistic chops is a weird fucking thing to happen even by 2020 standards.

    My mistake. I thought the regular season MVP was named for Russell
