Are you interested in being the league reporter around the biggest story in the NFL?

The Las Vegas Review-Journal seeks a team-oriented league reporter to cover the NFL and join its group of reporters as they cover the Raiders’ move to Southern Nevada.

The ideal candidate knows digital journalism and has at least five years of experience covering the league -- with a contact list to back it up. The emphasis will be on enterprise and analysis of the NFL.
This journalist will work in tandem with our lead Raiders leader writer, backup reporter, pro backup writer, columnists and our Raiders videographer. We expect this person to be collaborative in working with this group to create stories in all forms. Comfort around video and podcasts a must.

We want our team to explain the news as well as break the news.

Please email your resume and a cover letter to bbradley@reviewjournal.com. No phone calls please. Do not apply unless you have experience covering the NFL.

We have a winner: Greg Bedard of Boston Sports Journal/formerly of Sports Illustrated.

    Thanks to all that applied.

Four months after the hiring, Greg Bedard isn't at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Not a good look.

Very strange. I know when Greg took the gig he said on the radio it was a tough choice and there was a lot at play — the LVRJ letting him live in Boston etc.

    Curious what happened
