Maybe Pino and Vito will finally get to take over the pizzeria.

That movie STILL delivers (no pun intended) and it didn't even get a Best Picture nom? Don't know if its the subject matter, the performances or the filmmaking (it really has an almost timeless look). Crazy to think this was pre-Rodney King/riots/OJ.

Spike should really do a follow-up - has there been a movie that has really tackled the "post-Obama America/Trump America" head on?

Was in one of the great weird sketches in SNL history, "Hi-C and Turkey" (video not available for some reason, but transcript here)

    "Michael Corleone says hello."

He was great in The Professional, too.

Made his debut in Godfather as the Tony Rosato who strangles Pantangeles in the bar while meeting with the Brothers. Played the crooked police chief in Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time In America. Played Johnny Cammarari in Moonstruck. He was in The Professional.

My first memory of him was in Madonna’s Papa Don’t preach.

I will now leave the conversation.

This was probably the first time I took notice of him. I was 15. Madonna was pretty hot with this haircut.

Pretty amazing that Madonna could make that good of a song about abortion.

It probably wouldn’t have resonated as much if she’d sang, “I made up my mind, I’m...aborting my baby. Gonna abort my baby, mmm!”

Ah, but you should have seen him in The Client.

And, of course, "Dellaventura," which I think lasted about two months as a series.

The Client. That with Susan Sarandon and Brad Renfro? Definitely saw it once but don’t remember him in it
