Rendon will make a shit ton of money playing .500 baseball for the rest of his career.

My kid did some quick math and came up with Boras netting more than $800 million this week. With three key clients to go Hyun-Jin Ryu, Dallas Keuchel and Nicholas Castellanos -- he will crack $1 billion by the weekend.

He’s got a ring. He’ll play pressure free for 7 years and earn huge dollars.

If reports are accurate, the Nats offered 7/215. Probably deferred 30%.
Net 2-2.3 million a year difference.
Rendon will sincerely enjoy playing in relative obscurity.

Giants are a rebuild, but do you really need nine coaches for a 25-man team? What is this, college football??

And they don’t have a first base coach listed.

Trout, Rendon and Upton are a nice heart of the order but ever since the Nolan Ryan days, the Angels have been looking for pitching
    And they STILL are

Oh, for sure. I was looking at it from Rendon's point of view. I think any position player would at least be tempted by the chance to be in the same lineup as Trout.
