Schiff's closing was as good as anything I've heard in a while.

He's going to be chief justice of the Supreme Court one day soon.

Contempt of Congress by just refusing to testify is 18 months, probably in a local lock-up and not in FPMITAP, and scot-free afterward. (See Susan McDougal.)

If he's going to jail regardless, then he (or more likely his counsel) was a fool by agreeing to testify in the first place without immunity. Now he's all jacked up.

I think Sondland will not testify tomorrow.

I didn’t think it was possible, but with each witness, the July 25th phone call gets more and more perfect.

That was very good. Nunes, meanwhile, continues to read the same script he does after every hearing, trying to repeat it to drill it into the skulls of the base. You'd think he'd have memorized his lines by now.

Toobin had a good line on CNN: "Today was a graveyard for Republican talking points."

Then he'd be a good start to throw into fucking jail.

How much would it suck to give an asshole a million dollars for a cushy 'job' that lands you in prison?
A little like those rich dentists who go on safaris and get eaten by the animals.
