Question for the lawyers. As far as the Trump may have lied in his written Mueller testimony story...Isn't the term "I don't recall" a safety net that will cover his ass? Or is it not that easy?

Notice the rote repetition of the right wing screech machine characterization of the "failed" Trump-Russia Mueller eport, which
listed 11 instances in which the "president" was ... uhh, cough cough ahem ... we can't really say this out loud ... uhhh ... uhh, well ... guilty of felony obstruction of justice.

As in, he did it, but we can't say so, because the DOJs of two presidents under direct threat of criminal indictment made up a completely imaginary and non-constitutional "policy" that the president can never be prosecuted for any crime.

For a brief Al Pacino-jack, barring a federal pardon, the very micro-instant Fatfuck leaves the office of president, the fat load of lard is going Straight To
Fucking Jail, the Son Of A Bitch is Guilty.

So the Mueller Report isn't quite completely "failed."

Thanks for ruining that for me. What's next, the real fate of the people on "Lost"?

Short answer is probably yes. Hard to prove an intent to lie if someone said that they did not recall at the time that they were asked the question.

Why doesn't everyone go this route? I just can not remember seems like it would cover the bases well.
