Update: We Found a “Staggering” 281 Lobbyists Who’ve Worked in the Trump Administration — ProPublica

"At the halfway mark of President Donald Trump’s first term, his administration has hired a lobbyist for every 14 political appointments made, welcoming a total of 281 lobbyists on board, a ProPublica and Columbia Journalism Investigations analysis shows.

With a combination of weakened rules and loose enforcement easing the transition to government and back to K Street, Trump’s swamp is anything but drained. The number of lobbyists who have served in government jobs is four times more than the Obama administration had six years into office. And former lobbyists serving Trump are often involved in regulating the industries they worked for."

If Rudy had wandered off to Vermont to write his memoirs in January 2002 - and stayed there - his place in history would've been assured. Everybody would've forgotten about the nasty bits of him as mayor. They might as well have written "The Savior of New York" on his eventual tombstone.

    Now? I'm concerned.

Next up in the revelatory pipeline: How much of a "taste" of that $500K did Rudy have to fork over to his racist traitor in chief mafia don?

Oh I am pretty sure his place in history is now assured.

I am not a lawyer (and don't play on on television or web forums), but why hasn't Rudy been arrested? Is there really not enough yet to charge?

Rudy is 75, a cancer survivor and clearly likes his cigars and booze. Maybe he’s been stupid with money and is worried about his divorce. But it seems crazy that he’d be this greedy so late in his career.

One must assume the Feds are taking their time crossing every T in order to avoid any chance of a screwup when it comes time to arrest the President's lawyer (yet again).

Yes, which is exactly why one must assume he's been greedy his entire career.
