When you say "went through the defense," implying he was able to get past, used or enter into, you actually were referencing him beating up his girlfriend? I think you pulled a few muscles trying to make that stretch.

You could have said "he abused the defense like..." which would have still been a bad joke but would have actually made sense and been apropos.

Even Hemingway had an editor and he wrote simple declarative sentences.

The choice was Winston or Marriota, turns out they were equally marginal

That might turn out to be one of the weakest overall drafts in history

Kelce gets mugged running a route and Mahomes is intercepted in the endzone. Flag. Officials call PI but then huddle and say Kelce was held, but the ball was in the air so it's not a hold and since he was not in the general vicinity of the pass, it isn't PI either. I need a flow chart to understand that decision.

They actually got it right despite the mugging. Kelce was probably at least 30 yards away from where Mahomes threw the ball, so it isn't interference. Defensive holding on a pass has to happen before the ball is thrown. When the officials spoke with one another about it, they realized Kelce was held after Mahomes released the ball, so by rule, it can't be called holding on the defense, either.

Dolphins score with six seconds left to make it 17-16, and go for the win. Kenyan Drake proceeds to drop a slip screen pass to end it. Drake probably would've been tackled immediately anyway, but the drop is a much more fitting end to this game.

Noticed something interesting that will be disappointing to Clay Trumpist and his SEC klan: top 4 QBs in NFL QB rating are black.
A couple of weeks ago, he has us believe that Baker Mayfield was > Lamar Jackson.
Jackson is 12th in rating. Mayfield is 33rd.
I know that’s an odd stat, but there is no objective evidence to suggest the general narrative, which is that QB quality is related to race.
