I did remember the Billy Ripken "Fuck Face" bat handle, which still cracks me up.

 

The "Fuck Face" Ripken card was obviously inadvertent, but Fleer loved to put some amusing photos in their 1980s set. I always loved this one in 1986:

 

The Tigers get two hits (both solo homers) and no other baserunners against Justin Verlander but win, 2-1. Chirinos goes 4-for-4 but gets thrown out on a perfect relay to end the game, trying for a triple to complete the cycle. Supposedly the biggest odds ever for a major league game.

That's pretty messed up.

 

Chirinos made a really selfish play to end the game. I get that he wanted the cycle, but bottom of the ninth with two outs and trailing by a run is not the time to make the last out at third base.

Someone made a lot of money betting against the Astros this month as the largest favorites since whenever. That's twice now.

 

These uniforms are beyond awful.
