Actually I think the answer is the same either way. I looked and other than the period you gave, I don’t think the MVP has ever stayed in one conference for four straight years.

EDIT: that is not true. AFC from 2006-2010, but repeats by Brady and P. Manning

EDIT 2: also NFC from 92-97, but repeats by Favre and Young. Fuck am I out of it today.
