Everyone knows attempts to reduce emissions are just political correctness run amok.

Basically, this is to stop talking about Greenland and talk about this.

Sadly, many people will think to buy a used car, note that "new" is not in that tweet, will be $3,000 less expensive. Base, think space between their ears.

And if I drive this car 150,000 miles, at 50 MPG, that's 3,000 gallons of gas. If that car gets 25 MPG, that's 6,000 gallons of gas.

So, at $2.50 a gallon, that 50 MPG car cost me $7,500 to drive. At 25 MPG, it's $15,000 to drive.

    At $3.00 a gallon, it's $9,000 to drive 150,000 miles. At 25, $18,000.

So, save $3,000 now and pay $7,500 in the long run. You are in the red $4,500.

Pay $3,000 now and not pay $7,500... You are in the black $4,500.

Simple math and not so simple thinking.

Please note, I didn't even bring the environment into this.

    It's all about selling gas.

    You're assigning high-minded motivations. It's actually just short-sighted knee-jerk talk radio conservatism.

HOW DARE THEY TRY TO REGULATE GAS MILEAGE AND EMISSIONS! WE WANT THE FREEDOM TO DRIVE THE AWESOME CARS FROM THE 1970S AGAIN!
