I know he's a well-respected coach and person, but "The Dick Tomey Trophy" sounds like something they hand out at the AVN awards.

If they want to do something nice, maybe one of the teams can play defense.

Tomey had a 4-4-3 season IIRC.

I wonder how many Miami fans will go to Orlando?
They don’t even show up in Miami

The sorts who don't want to drive from Orlando to either Coral Gables or Miami Gardens.

Much easier for Florida's students and local alums to drive there from Gainesville ... but I guess we'll see if Miami shows up. The football team, the fans, etc. ...

Never rooted for Florida for a single game in my life. No reason to start now.

One of my happiest non-Alma Mater-related college football moments was that 1996 Fiesta Bowl (Nebraska 62, Florida 24).

This is the NCAA we’re talking about. The same organization that puts college basketball tournament games in Buffalo and says they’re in the West Regional.

Once again, Roy Williams is in his office in Chapel Hill laughing his ass off.

Mississippi State hit with NCAA sanctions: Tutor took exams for football, basketball players
