Lol. If Stratomatic cards were based on the previous year’s stats then ‘87 would have been great. Eichhorn’s ‘86 season was insane. Had he thrown five more innings he’d have won the ERA title out of the bullpen.

    I’ll say 1953

Heh, my sheep counter is clicking on the black and white photos on the front of baseball reference, look at their stats, and, if they have an SABR biography, read that.

I’ve found out a lot about Strawberry Bill Bernhard.

I was thinking he was with the Eagles by then.

Answer was 1961, but in 1952...a freakish nine out of 12 teams started a Hall of Famer at qb, but that’s if you include guys like Jim Finks and Tom Landry, who are in the Hall but not for playing quarterback.

The state with the most NFL players that has yet to produce a HOFer is Maryland. That problem will be solved when Chuck Foreman is elected in the 2020 class...

The Denver Broncos drafted five Hall of Famers with their top overall pick between 1962 and 1968 (all first and second rounders). Only one ended up being a Bronco, Floyd Little. Who were the other four? Hint, offensive tackle, defensive tackle, linebacker and nose tackle.

I am the only player in NFL history to catch 200 passes without a touchdown reception. Who am I?

Maurice Carthon? Feel like it’s someone like that, a grinder who caught swing passes and hung on for a long time.

    It's a tough one. I'll say it was a 1980s power back.

I was gonna guess Bettis, but based on the clue, going with Gerald Riggs.
