Boomer Esiason and Frank Reich are two of them. Too late for Bob Avellini?

Boomer and Frank are two. Avellini was mid 1970s and followed by Mike Tice, who played tight end in the nfl.

Neil was the last in the line. Hint: one was probably best known as a patriots backup and their other was with the Seahawks, including one very long miserable season where he lost every game. Coincidentally, their two biggest seasons came in the same year and both got replaced by a first round rookie quarterback the next season.

He is the fourth. Another hint on the missing guy: he was a a big star in the wlaf, whiched helped him get his nfl shot

I saw this question on Facebook. When I got there, 2 of the answers were already given, and I got the hard one!

There are only three teams whose all-time K/9 leader didn't pitch for them this century. Can you guess the teams and leaders? (I'd categorize one as easy, one as medium, and one as very hard.)

Baseball Reference uses a 500 IP minimum for this.

    Nolan Ryan, Angels
    Bob Feller, Indians
    Tom Seaver, Mets

Whoops didn't see the K/9 qualifier, that changes things.

Final one. The only terp started of that era who didn’t go to the nfl was Dan Henning, jr.
