What are his views about a constitutional amendment regarding AstroTurf and when does he open his Christmas presents?

I've been in the Pete camp since he gave an interview in French. But I do not expect him to stick around.
For some reason we are just not allowed to have outlandishly smart people as chief executives.

I'm in the anybody but Trump category, though I'd be concerned if one of the kooky candidates like Gabbard, Williamson or Yang got it. I'd also have to hold my nose with Biden, though I bet he'd at least restore some normalcy in between putting his foot in his mouth and thinking Margaret Thatcher is PM.

Warren is my top choice. I don't agree with her on everything, but I appreciate she's been willing to change her mind and beliefs in her life. And she has plans. Her policies are more detailed than anyone elses, which is a huge hit with me.

Yeah, but white Republicans don't like Warren, so they don't think the Dems should nominate her.

Because if there's anything the Democratic Party needs, it's the opinion of white Republican men.

My worry is it will be Biden because Bernie will stick to the end and keep Liz from winning the nomination

Would that be such a bad thing? Trump probably wipes the floor with Warren. I like Warren but there are still too many redneck voters. Plus, Trump would start that Pocahontas crap again.

I'm very excited to see the thinning of the ranks here as it starts to really get to the crucial part of the campaigns. There are so many hangers-on/longshots at this point that there's no real activity, but it will get real interesting once some of the more major candidates start to drop out.

I've been really impressed every time I've seen Buttigieg speak. I don't know all of his policy proposals, but he's smart and sane.

But I look around my state, and the state of the union as a whole, and I don't see any way an openly gay man wins a national election in 2020 — and maybe not in the 30 or so years I have left greenside. It's also why I don't think Harris or Booker are viable candidates to knock off Trump. My state went for unicorn Obama, but I don't see that happening again anytime soon.

I wish I had more optimism about the above three's prospects, but I just don't. And I've heard too many people who have some reason that they can't even articulate who would never vote for Warren. That leaves us with Biden, a fairly honorable man with obvious flaws and too damn old.

Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly vote for whomever gets the Democratic nomination. I would be shocked if my state turned against Trump, but I don't see it happening.

There's not a single person in that group that I have any interest in seeing become President. And I think a lot of people -- even many of those who voted for him last time -- will have trouble electing Trump for another term. This is everyone's problem with the upcoming election.

Of course, that very thing -- that there's nobody of interest to vote for -- may, in fact, give Trump his best chance for re-election.
