    A few things.
    1) "Cleveland.com has an opening for a dream job covering the Ohio State University sports team."
Which one? I'm guessing football, but it's never mentioned.
    2) While it states Ohio State University first, "Ohio Sports" and "the Ohio beat" are also mentioned.
Some would argue "the Ohio beat" would be found in Athens, Ohio, which is southeast of Columbus.
    3) Do you plan on paying this person?
Nowhere is salary or pay mentioned. If it's a dream job, you get paid. Otherwise it's a dream hobby.

Not that unusual for pay to go unmentioned. But that first paragraph is a head-scratcher. "Covering the Ohio State University sports team" and the rest sounds like it was written by someone in HR who has never even seen a football. And junk like "you will lead discussions with the audience" ... is this an adjunct professorship?

    Probably supposed to say teams.

  5. 1-2 years experience required for a job that seems on paper to be this big feels like a red flag about what the salary is.

It's an Advance publication. They care more about commenting on articles than on the actual content of the article.

The ad is almost verbatim identical to the Michigan reporter ad.

Cleveland.com doesn't pay squat compared to (what's left of) the P.D. staff
