I looked it up. Wouldn’t have guessed. Though, number six on the list really surprised me even more than number one.

    Some guesses: Bill Freehan-Mickey Lolich.
    Roy Campanella-Don Newcombe
    Bob Gibson-Tim McCarver
    Mad Bum-Buster Posey

    It's Freehan and Lolich.

I thought of the question when Mad Bum pitched to Posey last night and Dodgers announcers were making a big deal about how it could be the last time Bum pitches against the Dodgers as a Giant. I couldn't find their number, however.

Lolich and Freehan formed a battery more than any other combo in baseball history

This list, based on outs recorded, shows Red Faber and Ray Schalk as No. 1.

Only two MLB players to have killed someone and received BBWAA votes for the Hall of Fame. Hint: one was out and out murder, the other was vehicular manslaughter.

I’m starting to regret this question.

I was thinking Marty Bergen, who murdered his family, and Pinky Higgins, who ran over a worker in Louisiana. Apparently, a lot more guys who got Hall votes also killed people. No what they call it America’s Game.

Stole this off a Facebook page:

Who are the only 4 MLB players to hit a home run before age 20 and also after age 40?

Cobb and Staub are two of them.
