And thus starts the speculation that KD returns to the Dubs.

The Dubs just put him out there injured and he now has (it appears) a torn Achilles.

I'm not sure he's going to be too eager to stick around.

Come on before we start making judgments let’s wait for the facts.

I’m no KD but I did suffer a ruptured achilles and my surgeon (one of best in SF) said it’s just wear and tear. I swear someone kicked me and no one was within 5 feet of me. And I never even had any soreness in that area. If it’s an Achilles, it was going to go at some point soon.

Even before I heard what it is, I had nothing but admiration for him giving it a go. You could see what a difference he makes.

    It's *been* an Achilles injury.
He took his shoes off after his first timeout and iced right there, at the heel.
It's been an Achilles, and of course he came back too soon.

That was my thinking as well. The New York headline doesn't surprise me, as all the talk here has been about the Knicks basing everything on the idea of getting Durant.

That’s a classic NY headline. One of the better ones if you ask me.

If he really popped his Achilles last night, he's going to be out for pretty much all of next season.

I'd be shocked if he didn't take his $31.5M player option for next year and make the Warriors pay him to rehab.

Without question he should take that option.

I didn't have a problem with the nydy headline either. It was funny.
