Maybe this is the wrong thread to ask and please educate/school me, but how do Sean Miller and Will Wade still have jobs?

    They win games.

There is literally no other criteria for an NCAA coach.

Shit, if Dave Bliss was winning 30 game a year and going to Sweet Sixteens and Elite Eights, he'd still be at Ken Starr University.

In the case of Wade it is because he wins games, is denying everything and told the NCAA that. He was suspended because his contract requires him to talk to the NCAA and he refused. Since he was not complying with the contract the school suspended him. The school also had a decent legal case that they did not have to pay Wade off the remainder of his contract because of his non-compliance.

Wade subsequently decided to talk to the NCAA and deny. But in talking he fulfilled the obligations of his contract. The school then reinstated him. By fulfilling his contract it greatly weakened the school's case to no pay off the remainder and they would have been out millions.

Mileer continues to deny. I think the school is waiting for the NCAA to drop the hammer and hoping somehow it will not. But in waiting for sanctions if they then fire Miller they might be able to get out of paying the contract off.

Yay, paint another stripe on the floor. How many is that now, 6-7?

Anybody ever wonder how this gets done? How exactly do schools remove the old 3-point line and affix the new one? It can't be something the third assistant AD does in between certifying compliance issues.

At the arena where my former school played, the facility guys did it. And it's actually tape, not paint, on the floor. And they used a device kinda like an old school compass, that metal pointy thing we used to draw circles and angles and stuff, to get the distance right. They anchor the thing on the baseline under the basket and then mark where the tape needs to go.
