I see where Justin Amash is advocating impeachment. First GOP Guy to do so. This going to get a lot of traction from those claiming it is a sign of crumbling support. I know he has been a Trump critic, but I suspect he’s following orders from his klan. They think Amash’s announcement will goad Democrats and intensify the in-fighting between Pelosi and the rank and file.

All wars have atrocities. But an army
No. Amash is who he is, a Republican who's a very strict civil libertarian. He's been on Trunp's case for years. He often criticized Bush, too.

There are days I think the average American's thoughts about the military begin and end with "Thank you for your service." [/crossthread]

True, but he's an original Tea Party guy. He's one of the founders of the Freedom Caucus. For him to come out and say what he did as baldly as he phrased it is significant.

Amash is an honest ideologue. That's something in today's climate.

Aw hell, Pence will give 'em the same judges and tax cuts the lowlife from Queens can and later they can denounce Trump as "not a true conservative" just like they did to Dubya.

Don't think so. They've gone too far. Without the racist authoritarian red meat, their voters will slowly drop away. It's like any drug. The longer you take it, the more you need for the kick.

Does our "global role" include threatening EU nations with sanctions if they continue with their business deal to acquire natural gas, delivered cheaply and efficiently through the Nord Stream 2 pipeline?

Man, I don't really know. I find your standards for people are legalistic and lacking any kind of flexibility or empathy.

I used to wonder this point. Why tolerate Trump when you have a lifelong bigot with allegedly Christian ties and years of experience in actual governing in Pence? But once a few months passed and they didn't move on Trump, they realized that Pence would be so boring in comparison that the members of his klan would, to a disproportionate degree, sit out the election.

Just figured that no matter who the Dems nominate for president in any election, GOPTV will deem them socialists and the Pavlov army will vote red.
