Barr needs to be impeached before Fathead is.
This should be relatively an easy task, but of course it won't be.

Spoiler: There won't be a trial.

Even if Democrats ever vote to impeach, which I would put at 50/50, McConnell will claim that the Constitution gives him the power to hold the trial but does not mandate it, just like Supreme Court nomination hearings. And he's not entirely wrong.

I'd bet Trump would loudly demand a trial, because he'd be certain of acquittal

I’m confused. Is it 13 angry Democrats? 18 angry Democrats? 14.8395 angry Democrats?

One little, two little, three little democrats.
Four little, five little, six little democrats...

Looking forward to the 2020 Dem nominee for president declare in July 2020: "China if you're listening, maybe you can find Trump's tax returns. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press" because that stuff is obviously okay now.

This is why I said at the time that President Obama should have simply put Garland on the court once McConnell made it clear the Senate was not only waiving its right to advise and consent, it was refusing to do so.

It was the biggest failure of his Presidency, to relinquish his right to have his nomination for the Supreme Court to receive a confirmation hearing without putting up a major fight. Even if Clinton had won, he would have been wrong to allow it. It set a terrible precedent for future administrations.

"Russia, if you're listening, you think you could whip up some Polonium Flavored Special Sauce for Big Macs? I think you would be rewarded!"

    "Hahah just kidding! Not serious!"
