Or Nixon himself. Losing California governor' race and claiming, "You won't have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore" and winning the White House only a few years later.

Trump's demeanor since the release of the report doesn't come off like a victory parade. And honestly, I would have figured he could get better golf partners than Limbaugh. Might be great for Limbaugh, but it's kind of like when Donny and Marie welcomed "special guests" The Osmond Brothers. Not exactly a huge get.

We have lost our sense of history and perspective.

"The song originated in the 1931 Broadway review "George White's Scandals," and was considered satire. It was recorded by Smith and also by Paul Robeson, who was black."

Paul Robeson, who was blacklisted during the McCarthy era.

His version of the Soviet anthem sung in English is probably the only one you can find.

I have not read this, but here. Also he lived in my hometown apparently during the height of his popularity. I don't know how he ended up there.

"We had numerous requests from our readers for the English translation of the Soviet National Anthem from Russian, the official CPSU version as opposed to the present bourgeois version. Here it is.

Also, in conjunction with this, here is the written version of a speech made by Paul Robeson, who sang in Russian the Soviet Anthem in 1953 when the news of the death of Joseph Stalin shook the progressive mankind. These two items are inseparable.
