    Given the American public's very dim view of sex offenders, particularly child sex offenders, I don't think any amount of rehabilitation is going to counteract the level of outrage his signing to any contract in affiliated baseball would generate in this country.

    So it is limitlessly outrageous that he'll be paid a pittance to throw a ball past a guy with a stick? Will it likewise be outrageous when he gets a job in organizational communication or something like that?

    And branching off that, should hitting a woman (say a pregnant woman) when you're an actual adult generate even more outrage? Less?
