Is no one talking about the national emergency more than they are - on here and in the media - because everyone knows it's bullshit and won't hold up?

Hopefully, it won’t. Trump wants to be a dictator. I would like to think that’s even too much for most Republicans.

Ninety percent plus of Republicans polled will support it. Every Republican member of Congress or Senator will support it when it comes to a vote. Every election the GOP loses convinces more and more of them that democracy must go.

That is incredibly sad. And scary.

Trump attacks hardest where he is weakest. He's lazy, so he says he works harder than anyone. He's dumb, so he says he's smart. A terribly insecure human-being. And he has a lot to be insecure about.

Trump had two genuine political insights. There are many many more white racists in this country than it is prepared to admit. And Republican elected officials are complete milksops who actually long to function as toadies for an authoritarian. I think he got the latter insight at the Republican debates.

When you get down to it - a President going around Congress to appropriate funding for something Congress hasn't approved is Iran-Contra all over again. And this President isn't even trying to play the "I wasn't aware what was going on" card.

I don’t think trump had a thought, plan or inspiration. We would throw up anything and then beat to death whatever slogan Foxnews found worked. He in undisciplined and lazy. He’s thoughtless and really stupid. He recognizes buzzwords and repeats them endlessly. Foxnews and Russians planted story after story about Hillary and the regular news outlets covered then as if fairness required them to, even if the email thing was out to rest a year before the election, they ran with it.
Trump won a plurality of primary voters in red meat states.

It was a peferct storm of fraudulently conducted elections and Hillary Clinton who deemed herself divinely entitled to be president. And the democrats, so fearful of her well connected supporters and afraid of being called anti feminist for opposing a dirtied candidate, unable to think clearly.

Trump is not the whirlwind. Gingrich and Foxnews created it 25 years ago and it’s gathered momentum to bring us a catastrophe
