    I guess I'm not sure to whom that signal is being sent in this particular case.

    Gillette's also donating money to Boys and Girls Clubs as part of the campaign.

    It's a razor company opining on how men behave in this world. Some people do not want to be told this by a razor company.

    People whining about a razor ad can get bent.

    Isn't virtue signalling just another word for advertising? We have no problem with ads that tell us we need to drink a certain beer or whatever in order to be better men. Now there is an ad that simply says be a better man, and people have a problem with that. Weird.
