    By far the funniest Reagan take IMO was the Phil Hartman sketch where Reagan was really the brilliant mastermind of Iran-Contra and the lovable granddad image was just a front he despised. This was funny because it went against the caricature in a novel way.

    Anecdotal, I know, but ....

    When I left the business three years ago, I had job offers in the same market doing the same thing from both government and industry. The industry offer was 20 percent higher.

    I think "outrage" has become a popular generic descriptor of things seen on social media.

    Some of it is, in fact, outrage.

    But a lot more of it is just disagreement. Just folks sticking up for something. Like decency.

    Add: When I see the word "outrage" deployed as a criticism, it's a good bet it's being done by someone who uses "PC" in the same way.
