    I've yet to work with a female news anchor who didn't marry someone making more money than she was.

    Les Moonvies's second wife was a news anchor. I have long wondered how often anchor chairs are assigned due to someone in a relationship with a decision-maker. I would also think it happens less with the primary anchor but more in deciding which reported is moved into a weekend gig.

    I have to think there are a few victims of MeToo who have stayed silent because they worry people will think they didn't earn the success they've had through talent alone.
