    Happy Holidays!

    As I did the last time I looked to fill this position, I'll try my best to get back to anyone who has any immediate questions. This thing will really pick up some steam at the start of the new year.

    The Staff Writer/Content Creator is responsible for creating, aggregating and curating engaging Cleveland Browns, NFL and fan lifestyle written and digital content for the Cleveland Browns digital, social media and print publications.

    Duties:
    • Create written content for Cleveland Browns media assets – including but not limited to: team web site, social media sites, game program and newsletters
    • Generate short-form, blog-style digital content
    • Research and develop story ideas
    • Manage process of sizing and uploading photos to the team digital properties
    • Make swift editorial decisions and write clean and precise copy
    • Work closely with internal departments to promote team initiatives
    • Maintain an active social media presence
    Qualifications:
    • Proven ability to develop creative, compelling stories
    • Excellent writing, research, communication and organizational skills
    • 3+ years of experience covering a team, league or college conference/association
    • Proven ability to multi-task and produce content for multiple media platforms, including audio and video.
    • Proven ability to work under strict deadlines
    • Willingness to cover football and non-football events
    • Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours
    • Experience working with a website content management system
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Able to work extended hours/weekends as required
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Team player
    • Working knowledge of Photoshop; graphic design skills a plus
