Heaven cartoons are always the best.

That's nothing. Soviets caused the explosion on Apollo 13.

Like the cartoon. But why the need for the wheelchair?

Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but that's another topic for another day. RIP to a great American.

It's showing that in heaven he's freed from the wheelchair forevermore.

I’m expecting a Rascal in heaven. A supercharged Rascal.

You know, GHWB obits and historical assessments have been in the can for decades. I do not think it is speaking ill of the dead that some balance be presented in them. There were reasons why he went from a 90 approval rating to getting 38 percent of the vote a year and a half later, and some of those reasons were his fault. This should be discussed as well as his sterling private life, patriotic service and skillful diplomacy.

    Yes it does:
    1. He was the son and grandson of past presidents of the USGA.
    2. First honorary chairman of the First Tee and I was told there was nothing honorary about it: he worked his ass off for them.
    3. Honorary chairman of the Presidents Cup.
    4. Staged numerous charitable golf tournaments for tsunami relief, etc.
    5. Was honored with the USGA, PGA of American and PGA Tour's highest awards for service to the game.
    6. Believed 18 holes of golf should be a 3-hour experience.
The final item alone should merit Hall of Fame consideration.
