And cue CBS slurping to get Georgia into the playoff. Not happening. They had their shot. They lost. They're not a conference champion and they have two losses.

Three of the same four teams from last year. That alone is a good reason for the committee to go with Ohio St.

You're going to put a two-loss team in over two one-loss conference champs?

I would encourage everyone else to do one thing then.
    Get better.

Every year is a new year. Be better.

Oklahoma has one loss. To Texas by three points in a rivalry game. And it avenged that loss today. That trumps Ohio State's 29-point loss to Pur-don't and includes a one-point overtime win over Maryland.

    Oklahoma gets the spot.

It's the end of the four-team playoff if that happens.

After watching them today, a case could easily be made they are one of the top four teams in the country.

Valiant effort by Georgia. That was a quarterfinal game. They lost. No way they get in, though it would lead to chaos, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

I do not see how you can possibly say that. They didn't just lose, they choked, from the coach on down.It was an anti-championship performance.

If Georgia gets in, it would be No. 4 and play ... Alabama. We just saw that game.

By that argument, is UCF the 8th best team in the country?
    We all know the answer.

You are assuming it's all about a rational assessment of merit rather than the inevitable political compromises of a committee created by powerful and distrustful rivals.
