Is it actually 28 hours per week, or paid for 28 hours with no benefits while working more than a full-time schedule?

Most of the positions on the staff are fulltime. The person who'd held this job was just promoted to fulltime.

No one should take a job with the promise of a promotion in due time. Even if you have the promise in writing from the head honchos.

Conor Ryan just announced he's leaving MassLive to be the Bruins beat writer for the Boston Sports Journal. Is this his old job? If so, according to his Twitter feed I don't know how's it's only 28 hours. Some days it seems like he was covering the four pro Boston teams in some sort of fashion, other days he was covering high school sports in Western Massachusetts.

Conor was full time. The part-timer was promoted into his spot. Her replacement is the open position at the top of this thread. And it is a legit 28 hours per week (and also includes benefits).
