New York professors allegedly engage in pimping, irony

    Sometimes the first couple of graphs say it all. From the New York Times....

    It's a pretty incredible story. The John Jay College is basically the gold standard in criminal justice. It's like the Kennedy School of Government or Yale Law School in their respective fields.

    I've never heard of these particular faculty members, but have consulted with other John Jay professors on other matters

    Criminal Justice as a term floats both ways. John Jay College is not known to be pro law enforcement or pro prosecution. They view a criminal justice as justice for criminals not justice for victims or justice for society.

    I consider Criminal Justice the purview of the cops. Anything beyond that, they can go 3 more years and earn a JD.
