How hard is it to comprehend less money in, less money out? You'd think that rational people/voters [major assumption in Economics] would realize tax cuts to the rich and corps mean less for everyone else.

One of the most noteworthy things about the Kavenaugh deal is how few of his defender talking heads have followed his own line of straightforward denial. Instead we get these weird "well, he was only 17" or the insane "it was rough horseplay" lines of argument. It suggests very few Republicans have much confidence in his denial.

 

Once again, Trump puts his self interest over the national interest.

Charles Grassley (and Hatch, and Feinstein, and others) is proof the Senate is basically the world's fanciest assisted living facility. I?'m 68, but really, the US ought to have at least an age 80 cutoff for elected and appointed officials. Yeah, I know that means Ginsburg would go, but if enacted, let the old fucks select their replacements subject to election/confirmation.
