    Khris Davis - MVP.

He’s incredible. Hard to see voters going the DH route, though.

Yeah there’s that. But like you say he’s incredible. How about the dinger he hit after the Make-A-Wish kid signed his jersey? It’s amazing that Beane didn’t trade him the last couple of years. Glad he didn’t.

There's a good chance they do -- JD Martinez

Nah, Betts is equal or better on offense and a stud in the outfield too. He’ll be the candidate from Boston.

There's a good chance Martinez wins the triple crown, and we saw how that worked out for the superior non-triple crown guy.

I honestly think there's a really good chance neither one of them wins it after they split the vote.

“Good chance” he wins the Triple Crown?

He is 12 points behind Betts in BA and is in a three-way dead heat in HRs.

I thought it was a tie with Davis and Ramirez one behind both of them in home runs. If I had to bet, I'd say Davis beats him out for home runs and Betts wins the batting title, but Martinez does at least have a shot at it. Would that get him the MVP?

Davis is 24th in the AL in WAR
Davis is 33rd in the AL in OBP
Davis is 7th in the AL in OPS

Those stats don't really scream MVP.

    1, Betts
    2, Ramirez

But Ramirez will get 1st-place votes.
